Prashamana- the healing energy of transformation.

This album was born out of Cheryl's love of yoga and kirtan. Each track is a unique experience, using mantras and musical keys carefully chosen to resonate with each of the chakras, creating an overall effect of balance and harmony.

The opening track, the Shanti Mantra Invocation, comes from the Upanishads, and has been chanted by seekers for thousands of years as they come together to learn, to grow, and to become enlightened. It is chanted at the beginning of many kirtans and yoga classes, as a way for humans to become unified in our endeavor to bring more peace into the world. These mantras are not just for healing ourselves, but to heal the planet and all beings everywhere.
